It is finally that time of year where weather (specifically SNOW) can sometimes prevent students from making class. Occasionally, if I don't believe I will get any students, I may weather cancel a class. Weekday mornings are the likeliest possibilities. Please check here or AYT's Facebook page if what's happening outside has you wondering about class.

NEW! Ashtanga for Teens

Introducing a special class aimed at teens ages 13-18 (through high school), with a special price! For teens to experience for themselves the many benefits of Ashtanga, including strength, stamina, balance, flexibility, and improved self-esteem. Get comfortable in your own skin!

This drop-in class is postponed to start Wednesdays at 4:15pm from 25 January.

Intro Series

Original Intro to Mysore-style Ashtanga 4 Week Series

Are you new to yoga, new to Ashtanga, or unsure about Mysore-style self-practice? Sign up for a four-week intro series! Next session starts Tuesday, 17 January at 6pm.

NEW! MORNING Intro to Mysore Series

Similar to the usual Intro to Mysore-style 4 week Series, with an emphasis on mornings! Plus it runs 5 weeks and meets twice a week. Get in the morning habit right from the start! Guided Half Primary

GUIDED HALF PRIMARY is coming back to the weekly schedule!

In November this class will change to Wednesday nights at 6pm. This drop-in class takes you through the Primary Series up to navasana with the traditional Sanskrit vinyasa count. This class is not suitable for beginners - 6 months of vinyasa/flow-style yoga experience required, with Ashtanga experience a plus. Full power!

Special class on the third Friday of the month

Next Guided Full Primary will be Friday, 20 January at 6pm.

Guided Full Primary, 6pm

Experience the FULL Primary Series of Ashtanga in this special class. Prepare to make your way through the entirety of Yoga Chikitsa! Or at least try. Come with an open mind, an open heart, and be prepared to SWEAT. Extra explanations and modifications will be given, as needed. This class will go at a slightly slower pace; expect to spend roughly two hours. Current students may use their class pass; visiting students pay a special drop-in fee.
